Remote Social Media Development Intern

This role is the first contact between ICN, prospective and current members, and our strategic partners. If you are looking for an intensive internship without leaving the comfort of your home, then this position is for you!
 
Duties and Responsibilities
ICN Remote Social Media Development Interns are part of the digital media staff to creatively discover ways to promote ICN, its brand, and that of our partners to boost brand engagement and increase revenue. The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns
  • Create weekly and monthly social media calendars to promote company brands
  • Create, edit, and distribute media content in partnership with the Digital Media team, Marketing team, and leadership
  • Track website and social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
  • Support marketing team at live and online events
Skills and Qualifications
A successful Remote Social Media Development Intern candidate will have diverse educational qualifications and technical skills to deliver on the job. A great Intern will have some specific skills and qualifications including:
  • Currently enrolled in college or a recent graduate with a bachelor's degree in digital communications or related field such as advertising, journalism, or graphic design
  • Impeccable oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with major social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Snap, etc.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics software, such as Facebook Insights to track audience engagement and campaign performance
  • Understanding of marketing strategies
  • Professional certification in Google Analytics and/or SEO is a plus
  • Interested in social media trends and knowledge of analytical tools
  • Copywriting and editing skills
  • Creative mindset and design capabilities
  • Available to work at least 15-25 hours per week or more
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines

  • All interns must formally accept and abide by International Christian Network’s (ICN) Statement of Faith for the duration of the internship.
  • This internship is an unpaid position.
  • Pre-Field training happens through online materials and virtual meetings with coaches leading up internship start date.
  • Dates and duration of internships are flexible, should be worked out with the team.
  • Degree Credit available upon the approval of your university/college supervisors.
