Remote Human Resources Intern

As a Remote Human Resource Intern, you will be the first contact between ICN and prospective and current employees, and interns – and the effectiveness and success of our ministry and relationship with them all. 
Over the duration of the internship, you will gain practical experience with current recruiting, payroll, employee and intern development, and the coordination of human resources policies and procedures.
 
Duties and Responsibilities
Interns are part of the operations and human resources team who creatively discover ways to promote ICN, its brand, and that of our partners to boost brand engagement and increase revenue. The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Post new positions on websites, job boards, and social media outlets
  • Assist with screening resumes/applications
  • Coordinate interviews
  • Collect and update our database with new hire information and documentation
  • Proofread human resource documents
  • Help prepare documents using Microsoft Office Suite of Software
  • Track progress, priorities, and deadlines of various projects
Skills and Qualifications
A successful candidate will have diverse educational qualifications and technical skills to deliver on the job. A great Intern will have some specific skills and qualifications including:
  • Currently enrolled in college as a human resources management or business/human resources major
  • Completed Junior year of college or recent graduate with a bachelor's degree in human resources management or business/human resources
  • Impeccable oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Self-Motivated
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Copywriting and editing skills
  • Creative mindset and design capabilities
  • Available to work at least 15-25 hours per week or more
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
Additional Information
  • All interns must formally accept and abide by International Christian Network’s (ICN) Statement of Faith for the duration of the internship.
  • This internship is an unpaid position.
  • Pre-Field training happens through online materials and virtual meetings with coaches leading up internship start date.
  • Dates and duration of internships are flexible, should be worked out with the team.
  • Degree Credit available upon the approval of your university/college supervisors.
